About the Program
The All Kids Bike program, supported by the United Way of Knox County, introduces bike riding as a key component of physical education classes. This initiative not only teaches children how to ride a bike but also encourages them to lead active, healthy lives while gaining confidence and independence.
Through the program, students receive bikes, training equipment, and helmets, ensuring a safe and comprehensive learning experience. Safety education is also included, empowering children to practice responsible riding habits both at home and in the community.
How the Community Supports the Program
This program is made possible thanks to the generosity of local donors, organizations, and volunteers dedicated to making a positive impact in Knox County. Their support ensures that children have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
Ongoing fundraising efforts aim to expand the program to additional schools, providing even more children with the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of learning to ride a bike.
