Isabel joined United Way of Knox County in October of 2024. She is an Ohio native with a degree from St. John’s College. She is committed to making her community and stronger and a more equitable place through family support, education, and health. She enjoys knitting, history, reading, and spending time with her goldendoodles, Olive and Ellie.

Katie stepped into the role of Executive Director in May 2024. With a background of community leadership, including previous work in education and public library services, Katie is committed to improving the quality of social care for every resident in Knox County. Originally from Knoxville, TN, she and her family moved to Centerburg in 2017. They are an energetic bunch who enjoy outdoor adventures together.

Halle, passionate about community support, joined United Way in 2022, focusing on collaborating with partners for Knox County's well-being. A Knox County native with a degree from Wittenberg University, she actively contributes to various local boards and committees, emphasizing health, prevention, and family support initiatives.

United Way welcomed Dee Hoeflich as Office Manager in 2017. Dee comes to us from the American Red Cross of Knox County where she worked for 11 years in range of different positions. Dee brings vast office management skills and great customer service expertise to our organization.

Walt, a retired teacher with 33 years of experience, joined United Way of Knox County in 2022, enriching the team with his extensive community involvement and passion for Knox County. With a background in education and active local engagement, Walt is dedicated to improving resource accessibility for the community. He enjoys outdoor activities, home projects, and spending time with his family, including therapy dog visits with his Collies, Allie and Tanner.
